The Mindful Trainer is a Learning and Development consultancy with a difference. I work with clients to design, deliver and evaluate learning events that add value to your organisation, individuals, and stakeholders. However, I am a qualified Mindfulness Teacher and Mindful Mentor, and I use techniques that incorporate mindful practices... simple, yet powerful practices that are easy to apple. Health, stress, communication, learning, connectedness... all are enhanced using techniques passed down from centuries of know-how.

Kay has been a member of Shamash Alidina’s Daily Mindfulness Club since 2020, committing to morning meditations and QiGong. Kay is an active member of his Teach Mindfulness Academy, leading regular morning meditations for the group. Why not join a kindful and mindful community held with a 1% smile? I provide tailored Management Programmes, with mindful practices, to enable your people to manage others mindfully. I often hear stories of people who hold harsh words from their Managers, years after the event. Our bodies hold trauma, and it affects our trust, self-esteem and confidence. Mindful speech and communication is essential for the modern manager.
Your Mindful People Programme:
I upskill your people, and enable them to be mindful communicators. Projects, one to one's, meetings, customer interactions...all will be enhanced when using mindful communications.
My belief:
We should enjoy our time at work, making the most of the rich opportunities work offers to grow, collaborate and create. Mindfulness enables us to enjoy every moment, from responding to every email, to drinking a cup of coffee.
Life is best lived in a present moment way, fully and as it is. My belief is that, every moment should be mindfully lived, and at work we work better and produce more when we lead mindfully, manage mindfully and communicate mindfully.
Every meeting is more enjoyable, authentic, and effective when we pause before we speak.
The inner critic can be quietened with awareness, allowing, and tenderness.
Every stakeholder achieves more when we communicate with honesty, trust and kindness.

My Story
I held a lot of trauma in my body until I became a Mindfulness Teacher. My One Year Teacher Training Immersion enabled me to recognise and allow space for unfelt emotions, and repressed needs. I incorporate mindfulness in each seminar, course, mentoring session and training course.
My learners love it. One person was so disengaged from his own body that it wasn't until I held a body awareness practice that he realised he had major pain in his kidney! Cue an emergency operation!
I use mindfulness to help learners be open and ready to learn, be present, speak mindfully, live with gratitude that they are busy (so easily forgotten with a huge 'To do' list!), and be kind to others, and the world. We know that mindfulness affects the neuroscience of the brain, so each time we pause we are rewiring our neural pathways. We can manage stress, be more resilient, and have greater enjoyment from our lives.
I have recently attended the inaugural Post Graduate Mindful Mentoring Teacher Training Programme with Cloud Sangha. Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield were lead tutors.
